Service Description

Play is a child's language. Child-Centered Play Therapy is generally designed for children who are developmentally 10 years of age and younger experiencing Stress/Anxiety, Depression, Problem Habits (including self-harm), Fears, Trauma/PTSD, Life-transitions, etc.. During session(s) the child will step into an empowering, supportive & safe space to explore the playroom and thereby themselves in a therapeutic manner. Non-directive play therapy allows the child to play out any challenges they are working through, whether consciously or subconsciously. Synergistic Play Therapy (SPT™ ) allows for emotional regulation to be integrated. Approach fosters a sense of healthy self-direction, regulation, decision-making skills, empowerment, harmony with self/others, self-acceptance, and so much more. Sessions can be paired with Guided Imagery Hypnosis recording(s) based upon what is observed in the playroom. This offers a deepening of conscious and subconscious benefits to allow for a more efficient process (recordings can be played during bedtime). Jillian's sessions follow CCPT & SPT™ approaches and integrate SE™ at times. She is also trained in other social-emotional and intentional parenting, such as Love & Logic™, Parenting from the Inside Out™, Conscious Discipline™ and more. Jillian's approach fosters the integration of unprocessed experiences, utilizing attunement and the innate intelligence that children organically possess, from a trauma-informed perspective. NOTE: While this is an incredible modality with wide-ranging benefits that Jillian is deeply passionate about, this therapy typically requires a more long-term and/or consistent commitment. A REQUIREMENT OF THIS Program is for Parents to take part in, or watch the recording of, a monthly 50-70min "PEER Group" Meeting/Class (Parent Education Empowerment & Resource). The class offers trauma-informed resources and psychoeducation that also adheres to gentle/attachment/conscious parenting methods. We discuss neurobiology, relational neurophysiology, tools, reframes, and more aspects that are designed to help caregivers better understand what is going on with child(ren) and ways to best support them. This can be tailored to better work with your unique family dynamics. *Sessions are done weekly to begin with. Hypnotherapy recordings are an add-on option. BOOKING LINK:

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation/Refund Policy: For Events/Workshops, there will be no refund once payment is made. A lot goes into reserving the limited space/seating and purchasing materials. If you won't be able to make it after booking please feel free to reach out to me and I can let you know if I can find someone to take your seat and refund your payment *ONLY IF* that is the case. For Sessions, no refund will be issued to a client who does not show up or is more than 15 minutes late for their appointment. For your success, it is important that I am able to allocate the full time to your appointment. A service is considered fully complete when a session has gone for 15 minutes. Refunds will not be given after the service is complete. Due to the extensive preparation (1-2 hours per session), necessary for each session, a minimum of 24-hour cancellation is required, or the full amount of the session will be charged. I do understand that emergencies can arise - and will do my best to take each situation into account. Please let me know if something comes up ASAP so that I can try to work with you.
